FAQ · Valencia

Plumbing questions in Valencia — answered before you book.

Sixteen direct answers about prices, emergencies, guarantees and coverage — collected from what clients actually ask, and written the way we'd want to be answered ourselves.

Prices

Plumber prices in Valencia — how the money works.

How much does a plumber cost in Valencia?

Starting prices are published on every service page: emergency call-outs from €50, taps from €60, drain unblocking from €70, water heaters from €240, bathroom rough-ins from €1,490, full repiping from €2,390. Your exact figure is fixed in writing before work starts.

Do you charge for estimates?

Written estimates from photos and descriptions are free. Diagnostic visits (like leak detection at €90 or emergency call-outs at €50) have published fees — credited against the work when you proceed.

Are there hidden charges for evenings or weekends?

No hidden ones. Out-of-hours rates exist for emergency work and are stated when you book — never discovered on the invoice.

Can the final invoice exceed the quote?

Not without your written approval first. If something unforeseeable appears, work pauses and you decide on the revision before anything continues.

Emergencies

Emergency plumber questions — answered before you need them.

What counts as a plumbing emergency?

Escaping water you can't stop, sewage backing up, no water in the home, or a boiler failure with vulnerable people in cold weather. If you're unsure, message — we'll tell you honestly whether it can wait for a scheduled (cheaper) visit.

What should I do before the plumber arrives?

Close the nearest shut-off valve or the main stopcock by the water meter, open a low tap to relieve pressure, and move electronics clear. Message us photos meanwhile — we often guide clients through containment while driving.

How fast do you actually arrive?

Within the hour is typical inside Valencia city; across the metro area we state a realistic time when you message. We'd rather promise honestly than arrive theatrically late.

Do you help with insurance claims after water damage?

Yes — the written report with cause, photos and repair description is included, and it's exactly the format Spanish insurers ask for.

How we work

How our plumbing service works — process and guarantees.

Can everything really be done by message?

Yes — description, photos, quote, scheduling and the final documentation all work over WhatsApp or email. Phone calls are available, not required.

What guarantee do you give on the work?

A documented workmanship guarantee in writing, alongside the manufacturer's warranty on any equipment. Concealed work is photographed before closing, so the guarantee has evidence behind it.

Do you supply materials or can I buy my own?

Either. We fit client-purchased taps, heaters and fixtures gladly — and quote our supplied alternatives transparently so you can compare like for like.

Will you coordinate with my builder, tiler or electrician?

Yes — plumbing first-fix and second-fix slot into renovation schedules cleanly, and as part of VELTORRA we speak fluent builder. Everything we hide behind your tiler's work is tested and photographed first.

Areas & languages

Coverage, languages and availability in Valencia.

Which areas do you serve around Valencia?

Valencia city plus Torrent, Paterna, Burjassot, Mislata, L'Eliana, Godella, Rocafort, Alboraya and Sagunto — with the same published prices everywhere. Other locations in the province are considered case by case.

Do you serve rental properties and landlords abroad?

Yes — many clients are owners who live elsewhere. We coordinate access with tenants, document everything with photos, and invoice by email. The written-everything culture was practically designed for remote landlords.

In which languages can I deal with you?

English, Spanish and Russian — for the conversation, the quote and the guarantee alike.

How far in advance should I book non-urgent work?

Standard jobs are usually scheduled within the week; larger works like repiping or bathroom rough-ins are planned a few weeks out with a written programme. Emergencies skip the queue entirely.

Your question isn't here?

Ask it directly — a real plumber reads every message and replies in writing, usually the same day.
